Toy Story Shorts Now on iTunes

The two short films starring characters from the Toy Story trilogy are both now available to download on iTunes. For $1.99 you can download Hawaiian Vacation that was shown before, and released on home video with Cars 2. It tells the tale of Ken and Barbie's failed attempt at stowing away to Hawaii with Bonnie, and what the other toys do to help them feel better.

And Small Fry is also available to download for $1.99. It explores the misadventures of the gang when an overconfident, shrunken Happy Meal version of Buzz tries to take the real Buzz's place. It was shown before The Muppets, but has not, until now, been available on home video.

Monsters, Inc. 3D Release Moved Up

Monsters, Inc. Scare Floor

News came today that Pixar has pushed up the theatrical release of Monsters, Inc. in 3D. It was originally set for release on the 18th of January 2013, but will now find its way into theaters on December 19th of this year.

New Brave Stills, Box Office Update

Two more Brave stills capture Merida's adventures in the forest with her bear friend. Hopefully these beautiful shots will help encourage the last of you stragglers to get out and see Brave! And the box office pull is still ticking upwards to join the ranks of Pixar's universally successful films. As I tweeted a week ago, Brave surpasses the magic $200 million mark, and will pass $210 million tonight. That puts it in 9th place for domestic intake for now, just above Ratatouille and below WALL•E.
