In 2010, Pixar cancelled a widely anticipated Pixar project called Newt without warning or explanation. To soften the blow a bit, they released a few beautiful images from the artwork department, showing the colorful and creative direction the film was headed. Now, former Pixar artist Katy Wu has publicly released some of her own artwork that she contributed to the project at the time.

Her work is simply breathtaking.
