I saw a tenfold increase in page views on this website today — the most hits ever, second only to my interview with Brenda Chapman. Well, I did write 3 pretty darn good articles, but I wish that's what I could attribute the traffic to. No, I owe it to Alex Zemke, a character animator from Sony Pictures Imageworks who announced his plans, along with a rendered image for an animated short film he's making based on Valve's popular game, Portal.

Even though this project is not actually from Pixar itself, Twitter and Reddit were abuzz with the phrase, "Pixar presents Portal" from excited Portal fans. I'm not much of a gamer myself, but Portal belongs to an elite group of video games that I've actually owned and enjoyed. It looks like fun. I'm excited to see how it turns out!
